Claiming your profile

If you have a Farcaster account, you already have a Spotlight account. Without ever visiting the app, you can earn ETH if others book your spotlight.

However, in order to claim that ETH or to book others' spotlights, you will need to perform a two step process.

First, login via Farcaster on the Spotlight app.

Second, to claim your profile, start by connecting your Ethereum wallet that matches your Farcaster verified address. If you haven't verified an address on Farcaster, you can find that option in the Edit Profile view on the Warpcast app.

Once you've connected the correct wallet, press the button to sign the message verifying your ownership of the address. The app will process the signature and confirm your address ownership onchain in the background. You should see a success screen within a few seconds and you're done!

Please note that crypto wallet integrations -- especially mobile wallets -- are sometimes unreliable. In some cases, you may need to repeat the process once or twice, or try a different wallet.
